About the Old Town Hotel

Gamlebyen Hotell Fredrikstad is a small hotel gem in a great location in Northern Europe’s oldest fortress town, surrounded by beautiful nature and historic buildings in Fredrikstad.

The hotel has 16 cozy rooms, all differently decorated with their own personal style. This hotel is located in the Old Town of Fredrikstad (only 1 hour from Oslo), 150 meters from the ferry pier, and is surrounded by shops, museums and markets. Free Wi-Fi is provided and bicycles can be borrowed free of charge.

It is a short distance from the hotel to both the train station and Fredrikstad city center. There is a free ferry to / from the Old Town regularly, see ferry times here.
