Here you will find answers to most of your questions about Gamlebyen Hotell.

Check-in/out

Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out is at 11.00 Let us know if you expect to arrive after kl. 18.00.

Cancellation

For direct bookings, a 3-day cancellation deadline applies.

Other rules apply for groups and events.

Breakfast times

Weekdays: 06.30 am – 09.30 am.
Weekend: 08.00 am -10.30 am.
We want you to state approximately time for when you want to eat. Breakfast is served at our partner, VÆRK. Here you get freshly baked bread, a selection of cold cuts, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon, as well as coffee / tea and juice.

Parking

We have a short-term car park right outside the hotel. Here you can drop off any luggage, and we will guide you on to the long-term parking. If you bring your own car, there is a paid car park near the hotel. A little further outside the Old Town you will also find free parking.

Covid-19
Gamlebyen Hotell AS puts your safety first and has therefore introduced measures for infection control.

Gamlebyen – Ålekilene:

Saturdays: 08.00 – 20.20
Sundays and holidays: 09.20 – 17.40
Departure every 20 minutes.

We offer a welcome pack for the room. Romantic welcome with sparkling wine, fruit and craft chocolate from Jentene på tunet. Or a welcome pack with organic apple juice from Dyre Gaard, fruit and craft chocolate from Jentene på tunet. Here you also get fresh roses.

Train station

If you arrive by train, the station is not far from a free ferry that crosses over to the Old Town. In other words, you do not have to depend on taxis, cars or other transportation.
